We want to show you the best places to take a great Gin-tonic in our city. Enjoy it.
Bobby Gin 'The perfect gin tonic does not exist,' reads a slogan on the wall, but the G&Ts at this bar certainly come close. Opened in June 2011, with a moody interior design, Bobby's has quickly taken the lead among Barcelona's gin bars.

Ideal Cocktail Bar Founded in 1931 and currently run by the third generation of the Gotarda family, the Ideal stocks 98 gins and 22 tonics. The gin tonic served here, with organic lemons from the barman's own garden, follows the traditional, purist style.

Boca Chica A hit with Barcelona's moneyed classes, this cocktail bar, on the second floor of the Boca Grande restaurant, is an astounding design statement, combining colonial touches with international chic. It also serves some of the best G&Ts in Barcelona.

Dry Martini This is Spain's cocktail cathedral, a hushed environment in which to sip a perfect Martini or gin tonic. Javier de las Muelas's Speakeasy restaurant, entered through a secret door at the back, is a very classy place to follow your aperitif.

Xixbar There's no mistaking the ambition of this establishment in the Poble Sec district, which organises G&T-tasting courses and sells a vast range of brands in its Gin Corner shop. All things considered, it is an essential stop on the Barcelona G&T route.

Elephanta This funky little bar in the Gràcia neighbourhood provides tasting notes for each of its 40-odd gins. There is a Gin of the Month and a tasting menu of three mini gin tonics.
