From September 26th to 29th Barcelona will become the capital of the equestrian world hosting the 102nd International Jumping Competition. For the first time, CSIO Barcelona will host a brand new world final, the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Final, the most important competition in the international equestrian calendar.  

Being a part of the Fiestas de la Mercè, the Olympic arena of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona will be the venue of twelve competitions with the participation of the most outstanding riders in the world ranking.

A total of 18 teams with nine from Europe, two each from North and Central America, South America, Middle East and Asia/Australia and one from Africa, will be eligible to compete at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Final. There will be three competitions at the Final. The top eight teams from the opening class will go to the third and final competition, while the remainder will compete in consolation class which will be held prior to the Final competition of Sunday.

The Commercial Village at the showground is an extensive shopping area with food-tasting, boutiques, exhibitions and also a horse and rider clothing and equipment sales stand.

The food court located near the main entrance of the event is an area where you can taste, at any time, all kinds of Spanish specialties including "tapas", cava and exquisite pastries.

El Real Club de Polo es la “casa del pádel” en Barcelona y por tanto no podía quedar al margen de la nueva era del pádel profesional… World Padel Tour. Comienza este lunes el “Barcelona International Open”, en lo que será la decimoquinta edición de los Internacionales de Pádel de Cataluña, uno de los torneos más antiguos del panorama internacional.

Será la cuarta prueba del calendario masculino y el debut de las chicas en esta temporada. En total se han inscrito 98 parejas, 68 en el cuadro masculino y 30 en el femenino. Mañana, desde las 10 horas, comenzarán los partidos de la fase pre previa en las pistas del Real Club de Polo y por la tarde ya se conocerán a las ocho duplas que avanzan a la fase previa.

 
El martes, a las 12.30 horas tendrá lugar la presentación oficial, con la presencia de la presidenta de la sección de pádel del Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, Mónica Espadaler, y el director general de World Padel Tour, César Inglés, acompañados por las jugadoras Eva Gayoso y Lucía Sainz, y los jugadores Fernando Belasteguin y Gerard Company.

El escenario principal ya está preparado para recibir a partir del miércoles a las grandes estrellas de este deporte. Se ha montado un “mini estadio” con capacidad para casi 3.000 espectadores y ya quedan muy pocas entradas a la venta, por lo que se augura otro lleno absoluto en las gradas.

45 Torneig Internacional de Polo - Barcelona Polo Classic

El Real Club de Polo de Barcelona será el escenario del 45º Torneo Internacional de Polo - Barcelona Polo Classic, que tiene lugar a principios de mayo. Tres partidos diarios (viernes, sábado y domingo) enfrentarán a seis equipos de medio handicap formados por jugadores provenientes de diferentes países del mundo.

El polo es un apasionante deporte en equipo en el que la armonía entre jugadores y sus monturas son clave para el éxito. La técnica y la habilidad del Polista se combina con la potencia y la calidad del caballo. The Reial Club de Polo de Barcelona will be hosting the 45th International Polo Tournament -Barcelona Polo Classic, in early May. There will be three matches every day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) which will pit six teams of international players with a medium handicap against one another.
